Flame Grilled Flat Iron Steak

2 pounds Flat
Iron Steak
2 Chipotle
Peppers in Adobo Sauce
½ cup Bourbon
Whiskey
6 cloves Garlic
6 cloves Garlic
1 tblspn Smoked
Paprika
1 tblspn
Itailian seasoning
1 tspn Cumin
1 tspn Coarse
Kosher Salt
1 tspn Coarse
Ground Black pepper
Mix the marinade ingredients in a blender. If you don't have a blender then chop finely and mix well.
Place the steak into a ziplock bag and add the marinade. Marinade for 2-4 hours.
Light a fire using lump charcoal. Once you get a good fire going place the steak on it to sear.
After five minutes flip the steak and sear for five minutes. Then close your grill and allow it to cook for 10 minutes. Now open the hood and flip, rotating the steak 90° for the grill marks, and close the hood and cook for a further 10 minutes. Repeat this process to the other side so that both sides have cross hatching marks.
Allow to rest for 15 minutes, slice on the bias, and serve. Enjoy!
