Korean Style Chicken
¼
cup soy sauce
¼
cup chopped yellow onion
2
tblspn sesame oil
2
tblspn sugar
4
garlic cloves
1
tspn grated ginger
1
tspn black pepper
1
tspn red pepper flakes
1
tspn sesame seeds
2
spring onions
Start by spatchcocking and de-boning your chicken.
Be sure to check throughout the flesh for small bones, especially the wishbone. Remove the thigh bones but leave the leg and wing bones in.
Next, mix all of the ingredients for your marinade in a bowl.
Now place your chicken and the marinade into a large ziplock bag and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
Preheat your grill to 350° F and place your chicken in the center of the grill skin side down.
Turn over after 30 minutes and cook for a further 30 minutes.
Plate up family style, as I did, or cut up into individual servings. You'll find this juicy and delicious. Enjoy!
