Whiskey Glazed Salmon

4, 6 ounce Salmon fillets 2
tblspn Honey
1/4
cup Cider Vinegar
1/4
cup Irish Whiskey
2 tblspn Honey
2 tblspn Honey
2
tspn chopped fresh Thyme
1
½ tspn grated Lemon Zest
2
tblspn Vegetable Oil
Sea
Salt
Coarse
ground Black Pepper
Be sure and get a good Irish whiskey for this one.
Mix
together honey, vinegar, whiskey, thyme, lemon zest, oil, salt and
pepper. in a ziplock bag.
Place the salmon fillets in the bag and marinate 1 hour on the counter, or 4 hours
refrigerated.
Grill
for 10 to 12 minutes at 400° F, then bast once with the marinade.
After 10 more minutes remove and serve.
Looks good Al, I am one of those people who really doesn't like fish, I think it's the texture or it seems to taste fishy.
ReplyDeleteBut, you start to throwing that much Irish whiskey at it it's gotta kill the fishy taste.
The wife loves salmon, she's going to try it which means I will be trying it.
Actually this does look excellent.
